Program Options and Costs
Explore our program options designed to prepare you for cross-cultural ministry.
Our full program includes 20 modules designed to provide holistic (“head, heart, and hands”) preparation for cross-cultural ministry. Students work at their own pace through the modules in sequential order. A facilitator provides coaching and feedback via email and Zoom. Students who complete the full program may earn college credit through one of our educational partners.
Students may pay per module or receive a discounted rate for paying their total tuition upfront. In addition to tuition, students are responsible to acquire the books necessary to complete this course. All books are available for purchase in both print and digital format (Amazon kindle).
The Online Missionary Training School Certificate of Training is awarded to students who complete the full program, which includes coaching from a facilitator. Students receive a certificate and transcripts from Global Frontier Missions that may be helpful when joining churches, non-profit organizations, and missions agencies.
Cost Per Module: $60
Total Tuition: $1,000
The college credit or degree program is for U.S. citizens who wish to transfer credits received from completing the full MTS program toward certificates and degrees awarded by one of our partner organizations. Rates vary according to degree path: Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate.
Associates: $130 per module / $2,000 entire program
Bachelors: $180 per module / $3,000 entire program
Masters: $240 per module / $4,000 entire program
Doctorate: $300 per module / $5,000 entire program
For Global South / Non-Western Missionary Students only:
The Global South Certificate of Training program is adapted for those living in nonwestern countries who desire missionary training. The tuition rate for this program is deeply discounted, ensuring that economics will not prohibit people in locations around the world from receiving the necessary training to serve on mission with Christ among the unreached.
Cost Per Module: $15
Total Tuition: $250
We now have college credit or degree programs for our non-Western students. This program is for students who wish to transfer credits received from completing the full MTS program toward certificates and degrees awarded by one of our partner organizations. Rates vary according to degree path and are available for Associate and Bachelor levels.
Associates: $60 per module / $1,000 entire program
Bachelors*: $85 per module / $1,500 entire program
*Global South Scholarships are ONLY applicable towards the Global South Certificate and Associate's Degree, NOT Bachelor's Degree

Self-Study Option
The Online MTS Self-Study option is for students desiring access to our resources, content, and curriculum for personal study and spiritual growth. This option is "hands off " and does not include the help of a facilitator, assignment submissions, or a certificate. This is our most cost effective option, but it offers no certificate and no interaction with GFM staff, facilitators, and mentors. The Self-Study option allows a student to access the content of a module for a period of 180 days from the time of payment.

Additional Information
We have done everything possible to make Online Missionary Training School affordable, to keep students from accruing debt before heading to the mission field. Much of the material in this program has been generously donated by authors, speakers, and publishers who know that this program is specifically designed to raise up missionaries who will serve the Lord among unreached people groups.
- A one-time $25 non-refundable application fee is required for students planning to take the full Online Missionary Training School program for either a certificate or a degree. No application is needed for Self-Study students.
- We offer 4 elective modules in addition to the 20 module curriculum.
- The online missionary training can also be done in the context of a local church or missions team
